Microsoft Azure Peering Service

Dedicated Peering to Microsoft Azure

The Azure peering service enhances connectivity to Microsoft’s public Cloud services, such as Office 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and all other Microsoft services accessible from the public Internet.

There is no need to subscribe directly with Microsoft for this peering service; France-IX provides it directly.

Master the network with the Microsoft & France-IX partnership

Microsoft and France-IX have teamed up to provide the best connectivity: optimal Internet routing to Microsoft Azure Cloud services.

Traffic isolated from the public Internet

Microsoft's MAPS ports are separate from peering ports: France-IX has two dedicated MAPS ports on two different PoPs.

Dedicated and redundant 100G Connections

Connectivity to Microsoft services is established through multiple Microsoft "Edge" PoPs, with each interconnection supported by two routers featuring redundancy mechanisms. Service availability is guaranteed by an SLA.

security-fill-w

Secure traffic

DDoS Protection is integrated by design into the service, as only Microsoft is connected to the peering LAN. It includes route and traffic analysis to detect any BGP route anomalies (such as leaks or intrusions).

coin_fill

No additional cost for inbound or outbound traffic

There is no additional cost for inbound or outbound traffic beyond your monthly subscription. Unlike private Cloud services, Microsoft will not impose any extra charges.

Technical support

Using Microsoft Azure Peering Service to responsive and high-quality technical support, available 24/7.

How to set up the MAPS Service

The client orders a connection port with sufficient capacity to handle traffic to Microsoft SaaS. France-IX then configures the access to Microsoft routers.
